From 1 January 2025, the limit of the meal allowance, from which the tax-optimal amount of the meal allowance will be calculated, will increase to CZK 177 per day. This amount also affects the amount of meal cards 📱💳 for employees.

From a tax point of view, the amount of 225 CZK is the most advantageous for 2025. Compared to last year, this is an increase of its nominal value by CZK 14 if the ratio under which 55% of the value of the meal voucher is contributed by the employer (CZK 123.90) and 45% (CZK 101.10) by the employee is maintained.

This model maintains tax efficiency while ensuring a fair distribution of costs. The total value of 2️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ CZK thus reflects not only the current legislative framework, but also the possibility to cover the average cost of a 📈 lunch menu 👩‍🍳 in Czech 🇨🇿 cities. The best value meal voucher is now worth 225 crowns.
